Rovaniemi Airport (RVN)
The main gateway to Lapland. Small, efficient, easy to navigate. Limited facilities — no lounges, basic cafe only.

The easiest transfer in Lapland. Santa Claus Village is practically at the airport.
- Walk: 20-25 min on a signposted path. Fine with light luggage in good weather.

Oulu Airport (OUL)
Oulu Airport is the closest major airport to Ruka, but it is still a 2.5-3 hour drive. It serves as a gateway for many northern arrivals, especially those coming from Helsinki or international connections.
OUL → Ruka
The longest transfer to any major resort (2.5 - 3 hours in good weather conditions). Rental car is strongly recommended here.
